We travel routinely throughout the Longview, WA. and Portland, OR areas. In those areas where we travel we can provide free product delivery to customers' homes or places of business if your delivery time frame meets our travel schedule. Those areas include Longview-Kelso, WA. and the I-5 corridor through Vancouver, WA. as well as Rainier, OR, to Portland, via St. Helens and Scappoose, through West Portland to Lake Oswego, Tigard, Beaverton, and Hillsboro.
FRESH BERRIES WILL BE AVAILABLE IN JULY
We take advanced orders by phone (503) 556-0134 for flats and 1/2 flats of blueberries. We will deliver the berries to your home or work if you live in our normal travel routes as outlined above. If you'd like to take a "country drive" you may pick them up at the farm, (Please call first to make sure we'll be home, and that your berries will be freshly picked. We also can arrange for "pick-ups" at the Cowlitz County (Longview/Kelso) Farmers' Market, held at the Fairgrounds every Saturday during the summer. Since we usually sell out early, please let us know and we'll reserve your berries.
Fresh Blueberries
"Duke" blueberries typically becomes available a little after the middle of July, with "Blue Crop" berries following around the first of August, and "Darrow" berries arriving in mid August...all weather permitting of course.

Fresh Lingonberries
Lingonberries are harvested in the Fall, usually late October through mid November. Call or e-mail now if you are interested in purchasing fresh berries directly ($7.00 per pound + shipping) or participate in a u-pick opportunity we will have in October & November.
Numerous individuals and groups have come out to the Farm to share in our country experience, see Lingonberries grow "in captivity" and pick up some fresh berries or Friendship Farm Jams and Syrups. We love to have visitors, and with advanced notice we can find a pitcher of cool drinks and a few treats to share with you on our front porch as we look over the field, orchard, flower gardens and, if its clear, a vista of Mt. St. Helens. Please call in advance to make sure we'll be home. We'll also give you the easy-to-follow directions to get here.

Scandinavian Heritage Festival (Puyallup, WA) October , 2009
Puyallup Co. Fair Pavillion, 9th & Meridian St., Puyallup, WA.
Protected from the unpredictable weather of October in the Northwest, this annual event draws a fine selection of vendors, great entertainment, and wonderful Scandinavian food. The 2006 festival was held in conjunction with Octoberfest and proved to be a multi-cultural extravaganza. We quickly learned that Lingonberries, known as preisel-beere to the Germans, were a favored old country treat to Germans as well as Scandinavians. We'll be there to provide our Puget Sound customers their supplies of Friendship Farm products.

Take the day and travel to Cathlamete, WA., a few miles down-river from Longview or accessible by ferry from Westport, OR. on Hwy 30. Begin the holiday season by shopping at this annual Bazaar, enjoy the performance of local entertainers, and wander through the old river town.

The Berry Patch, Westport, Oregon
Stan Egaas is Northwest Oregon's aficionado on jams and syrups produced from native Northwest fruits. His restaurant and jam shop are must stops for those traveling from Portland to the Coast by way of Highway 30. The food is great down-home prepared. The pies are wonderful. And you can purchase Friendship Farm Lingonberry jam as well as select from among the many other jams and syrups made at the Berry Patch by Stan's own little jam maker Peggy.

John and Kristin Lillich's run a delightful bed and breakfast along the canal in Clatskanie. You can also rent from them canoes and kayaks to explore the surrounding waterways. In their Jam Room they provide a variety of unique jams and syrups, including Friendship Farm Lingonberry Jams and Syrups.

smoked salmon, cream cheese, and our Lingonberry Jam.
Served with crackers it’s a wonderful Northwest treat. The market is open every
Saturday May through December, with special Holiday openings on both Friday and
Saturday the first two weekends in December.

Curtis Nelson has put together a wonderful shop filled with local crafts, food products, and art works. The shop is located in the heart of old town St. Helens, across from the courthouse park, and close to the marina. Drive out from Portland for a taste of Columbia County, or walk up from the Marina when you are boating on the Columbia River.
